Windstar Memberships

Equity Membership

Windstar Club shall offer the following two (2) categories of Equity Memberships: Golf Membership and Social Membership (collectively, the "Equity Memberships"). Each Equity Membership represents an equity ownership interest in the Club.

 

The total number of Golf Memberships shall be limited to three hundred and fifty (350) and the total number of Social Memberships shall be limited to two hundred (200). At the discretion of the Board of Directors, however, these limits may from time to time be exceeded temporarily for administrative purposes in the interest of maintaining on a year-round basis the respective classes of membership as nearly as possible at their stipulated limits.

 

  

Membership Privileges

Golf Membership - Golf Members are entitled to use all of the golf, tennis, wellness, dining and social facilities of the Club. Golf Members have a priority to reserve golf starting times and tennis court times as set forth in the Rules. Golf Members shall not be required to pay green fees or court fees for their use of the golf and tennis facilities of the Club, but shall be required to pay golf cart fees except as provided in Article X, Paragraph 3, Section f. of the By-laws.

 

Social Membership - Social Members are entitled to use all of the tennis, wellness, dining and social facilities of the Club upon payment of Social dues. Social Members shall be entitled to select from two dues categories at the beginning of each membership year: Social and Social Golf. Each dues category provides for sign-up privileges to reserve tennis court times without payment of court fees. In addition Social Golf Members shall be entitled to play a maximum of five (5) rounds of golf per membership during the period from November 15 through April 15, upon payment of greens and cart fees and unlimited golf during the period from April 16 through November 14 without payment of greens fees but upon payment of cart fees. For purposes of the seasonal golf limitation, a round of golf played by a husband and wife playing in the same group shall be deemed to be one (1) round of golf. Social Golf Members shall be entitled to reserve golf starting times in advance, but with a lesser sign-up privilege than Golf Members as set forth in the rules.

 

 

 

Non-Equity Membership

The Club has the right, in the discretion of the Board of Directors to issue non-equity, non-voting, golf and social memberships (the "Non-Equity Memberships") to persons who do not own a residential unit or lot in Windstar. Non-Equity Members shall be entitled to the membership privileges and shall be subject to the payment of fees and charges and other terms and conditions as may be determined by the Board of Directors from time to time. Non-Equity Members shall not be entitled to vote on any matters of the Club and shall not be obligated to pay assessments at any time. Non-Equity Memberships may be issued on an annual, seasonal or summer basis as determined by the Board of Directors from time to time.

 

The total number of such annual or seasonal golf Non-Equity Memberships outstanding at the beginning of each membership year shall be limited to three hundred fifty (350) less the total number of Equity Golf Memberships issued and outstanding. The total number of such summer golf Non-Equity Memberships shall not be subject to this limit. The total number of all such annual, seasonal or summer Social Non-Equity Memberships outstanding at the beginning of each membership year shall be limited to two hundred (200) less the total number of equity Social Memberships outstanding.

Junior Golf Membership

Golf membership with unlimited golf play must be 44 years old or younger 2/3 dues until age of 45

Golf Membership includes full use of all facilities at Windstar On Naples Bay Country Club.

Social with Golf Membership includes tennis, fitness, dining, and full golf privileges mid-April through mid-November.

Social Membership includes use of all tennis, fitness, and dining privileges.
